It was a lot darker than LWW. Btw, Andrew Adamson isn't directing Dawn Treader, but he is producing it. Peter Dinklage played Trumpkin. P.S. Edmund & Lucy appear in Dawn Treader and Last Battle (as adults in the latter). Peter also appears as an adult in Last Battle. Susan, however, never returns to Narnia b/c she stopped believing.
